"The agency is completely out of control."

July 27, 2026

F4F co-founder Jim Erdman sat down with Tucker Carlson for a 92-minute conversation on CIA obstruction, secrecy, and what happens to people inside the building who ask questions.

Good evening, F4F supporters. If you have ninety-two minutes, spend them here.

On 27 July 2026, F4F co-founder Jim Erdman appeared on The Tucker Carlson Show. Carlson’s framing: "The one federal agency no one has even tried to reform is also the most powerful: CIA. Jim Erdman just resigned after a long career as an operations officer. He says the agency is completely out of control and dangerous."

The episode runs through the Agency’s obstruction of justice, its use of secrecy as an operating principle rather than a security requirement, its funding, the relationship between the intelligence committees and the institutions they are supposed to oversee, and the risk profile of being a whistleblower who is still inside.

It has been watched a great deal more than anything on this website. That is the point of doing it.

Two ways to help right now. I. Watch it and share it — the reach is the only leverage an organization our size has. II. If it lands with you, back the litigation; the class action against the Agency is funded by members, not by a foundation.

Twelve years in, and the most useful thing he can do for the workforce is talk about it in public. Draw your own conclusion about what that says.
