Including the emails asking people to delete the emails.

On 29 August 2026 the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee released its final hearing document package — CIA memoranda, a 2015 request on mutation rates and serial human passaging, and years of emails asking recipients to delete messages.

On 29 August 2026, Senator Rand Paul’s office released the HSGAC Final Hearing Document Release Package, compiling materials from the 29 July hearing and the 06 August contempt vote.

What is in it:

I. CIA memoranda indicating Dr. Fauci encouraged Agency contact with scientists advocating natural-origin explanations.

II. A September 2015 CIA request regarding rate of mutation and serial human passaging.

III. References to a May 2020 CIA briefing involving former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, then also sitting on Pfizer’s board.

IV. Fauci emails from 2009 through 2020 repeatedly asking recipients to delete messages, covering H5N1 research restrictions and COVID origins.

There is no press writeup to link to. As of this posting the package has been picked up by nobody, which is its own small piece of information about how this story is being handled.

So read the primary source yourself. It is a Senate work product, free, public, and 111 invocations of the Fifth Amendment in the making.

Somebody wrote down "delete this message" in an email. Repeatedly. For eleven years.
